A modern and customer-focused webshop supports NTI’s digital ambitions

NTI is committed to growing its business through digitalization. A key step in this journey has been the launch of a modern and user-friendly webshop for selling its specialized software solutions and courses.

The challenge

NTI is one of Europe’s largest providers of digital tools for design and construction processes in the building and industrial sectors.

To support its digital growth strategy, NTI needed a seamless e-commerce experience that would allow customers to easily find and purchase software and training courses.

Their existing webshop required a major upgrade to deliver an optimized buying experience that matched modern B2C user expectations, ensuring a more intuitive and engaging customer journey.

Optimizing the user journey

To achieve its goals, NTI needed to upgrade its existing e-commerce solution to a modern, streamlined platform that could enhance both the buying experience and overall usability.

The goal was to create a seamless and intuitive user journey, aligning with modern B2C expectations, where customers could easily find and purchase software products and targeted training courses digitally.

The solution

The new solution is a webshop built on Optimizely Commerce Cloud and Content Cloud, leveraging the platform’s built-in functionalities to provide greater control and enhanced utilization of the commerce platform.

The solution is based on Microsoft Azure DevOps, which streamlines collaboration between developers, ensures version control, and provides full oversight of deployments and rollbacks across environments.

NTI’s modern and user-friendly webshop makes it easy for customers to find and purchase products, creating a seamless connection between software and training courses.

Internally, employees now benefit from more efficient workflows and greater control over the Optimizely-based commerce platform.

With the new webshop, NTI has established a solid foundation for continued digitalization, allowing for further development of the commerce platform through integrations with other business-critical applications.

We are now working closely with NTI to refine and enhance the integration between Optimizely and Salesforce, as NTI undergoes a major Salesforce upgrade as part of its ongoing digital transformation strategy.

The collaboration

We took over the project for NTI midway through the process, at a time when a webshop had already been launched but new demands for quality and functionality quickly arose.

NTI needed a partner who could understand both the immediate needs for design and functionality in a modern commerce platform while also managing the complexity of handling a product catalog integrated with Salesforce.

Additionally, they required a partner who could identify optimization opportunities within the existing commerce solution, which had not yet been fully leveraged.

We wanted a partner who could challenge us and bring new ideas. We chose Immeo because we believed they could deliver the design upgrade we wanted in phase one. But we also needed continued development on the commerce side and an integration with Salesforce - and we saw that Immeo could deliver that as well.

Together with NTI, we conducted a detailed review of the existing solution’s challenges, focusing on improving navigation, search functionality, product-course alignment, and an intuitive selection process for software licenses and course locations.

The project rollout was highly structured and well-planned, ensuring the webshop went live within a short timeframe with minimal errors.
