The challenge

LOGSTOR is a leading global manufacturer of insulated pipe systems, used for district heating, district cooling, and CO₂ transport.

The company has evolved from being a traditional pipe manufacturer into a strategic partner for infrastructure projects in the construction and energy sectors, supporting the green transition.

To achieve this transformation, the first step was to bridge the gap between master data, marketing product data, and customer-facing channels.

LOGSTOR implemented a new PIM system from inriver to automate the data flow for its entire product catalog.

The new digital services now offer key calculations, product specifications, and documentation, essential for correct installation and deployment of LOGSTOR’s pipe systems.

The PIM system ensures that accurate product information is displayed at the right place and time across all customer-facing channels.

It also provides a scalable foundation for developing new digital tools that enhance product usability and customer engagement.

When we started implementing PIM, we had two main goals: first, to create automated and dynamic documentation, and second, to manage QR codes for all products.

The result

With the new PIM solution, LOGSTOR has established an automated data flow for all product-related information.

Now, all product variants are displayed correctly with the right product descriptions and images across all customer-facing channels and sales catalogs.

Additionally, the solution enables installation partners to scan QR codes on LOGSTOR’s pipes, providing instant access to specific product data, such as installation guides.

Previously, we struggled to present our products in a clear and accessible way for customers. That problem no longer exists.
