The solution

We provided advisory, development, and implementation of a scalable and high-performance platform built on inriver PIM. The solution optimizes the entire workflow from supplier assortment creation to enriched product data for online sales.

A&O Johansen now has a future-proof solution that enables continuous internal process improvements and workflow automation.

The result

A&O Johansen now has a scalable and flexible platform with high performance and stability. The time required to launch a new product online has been reduced from several days to just a few hours.

Additionally, the solution has significantly improved efficiency in internal workflows for assortment management and product enrichment.

Behind the solution

We implemented a PIM solution managing 400,000 products across seven assortments, integrated in real-time with A&O Johansen’s omni-channel commerce platform.

All channels have access to a shared Content Delivery Network (CDN) via Cloudinary, ensuring optimized image delivery while maintaining a single source of record in inriver PIM.

The PIM system is fully integrated with Adobe InDesign, supporting A&O Johansen’s print catalog production.

This ensures consistent and precise use of product data and images across both online and offline channels.

We now have a more agile and faster setup than before, but there’s still room for optimization. In terms of PIM, we have successfully reached our goal of ‘from two days to two hours.’
